Kenny's Story

We met Kenny and his wife Janis after they received one of our letters in the mail.  

Kenny and Janis had owned a second property for years. They were living in another property, and kept making plans to renovate this house so that they could either rent it or sell it.  Time continued to get away from them, and each time they made it over to the house it just seemed like they added to their laundry list of 'things to do' instead of making a dent in the things that needed to get done.

There were major repairs needed throughout the house, including a chimney leak that was continuing to cause damage.  The  previous homeowner had done a Lot of 'do it yourself' repairs which were difficult to figure out and know how to remediate.  There was still furniture and personal items from before they had gotten married, which were cluttering the house and weren't needed in their new property.  Without anyone living in the property, raccoons were starting to use the attic during the cooler weather.  It was just getting worse.

Kenny and Janis needed a simple solution.  We gave them a fair offer on the property, with a simple and quick timeline to close.  Our title company discovered some title issues from before they had purchased the house, which we were able to clear up without any delays in the closing.  They were finally relieved of the burden their property had become, and there were definitely happy tears the day of closing!
